Humantay Lagoon is located near the snowy Humantay is due to the melting of this snow that formed the Humantay lagoon, a place where you can breathe fresh air.
It is one of the most beautiful and sacred lagoons of Cusco, the turquoise color of its waters plus the impressive view of the snow-capped mountain is a complete wonder. To get there you must hike a little difficult but not impossible but you must be prepared for this journey.
-We start this excursion with the pick up from the hotel (near the Historic Center) between 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
-We will travel to Mollepata where we will stop for breakfast.
-Then we will continue until we reach a parking lot where the mobility will stay and start the hike.
-It is a 2 hour hike, when we arrive at the lagoon we will enjoy a brief guided tour, time to walk around part of the area, and take pictures of the landscape.
-Afterwards we will return to the transportation and return to Mollepata where we will have a buffet lunch.
-We will finish the excursion in Cusco, you will be dropped off near the Kusipata Plaza.
-Arrival time 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. approximately.
