Reviews: Bordeaux: Saint-Emilion and Medoc Full-Day Wine Experience
Guest User2025-12-04
Our tour guide (Xavier) was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and well versed. He was very friendly and extremely helpful . Quite an expert on both wine and all things Bordeaux! He made our tour list of fun and we learned quite a bit about wines and the city! I would definitely recommend this tour. The only recommendation that I would have regarding the lunch would be instead of offering the dishes that we were served to offer a simpler lunch with more basic food, like sandwiches or more cheese, crackers, olives, etc., all things that could go on a charcuterie board and that would go great with wine.

For the time of year (January) - it was a lovely and perfect afternoon — The chateau’s were interesting and different from one another- and the staff at each of them are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and passionate about Margaux! It’s a great afternoon.
Reviews: From Bordeaux: Half-Day Saint-Emilion Wine Tour
Guest User2026-01-15
The experience was excellent. The vehicle that picked us up was spacious and very comfortable, which made the journey very pleasant. We were also very lucky to be the only ones on the tour, which made the experience even more special and personalized. The guide (Zoe) was very friendly and professional, and explained everything clearly and in an engaging way. The visit to the château (Grangey) was also very fun and enjoyable, and the wine tasting was well organised and the château guide was also very good (Matthieu). To round off the day, we had time to walk around Saint-Émilion and to taste and to buy some wines at Direct Chateau (specialised wine shop). A highly recommended experience to enjoy the wine and the region in a relaxed and exclusive way 🍷✨
