SALERNO: Easy Hiking Path of Lemons • Maiori and Minori

The Lemon Trail is a trekking route suitable for everyone, easy to approach but with unquestionable charm, between the beautiful towns of Maiori and Minori.

You can choose the option Trekking+Ferry if you depart from Salerno, or start your tour from Maiori Port

The Tour begins at the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare in Maiori, erected in the 13th century on a rise located in the center of the small town on the Amalfi Coast and named after the statue that according to tradition was found in 1204 on the beach.

All along the way we will be accompanied by the intoxicating scent of lemon groves, breathtaking panoramic views and terracing typical of the Amalfi Coast.

Leaving the town of Maiori, we will climb the stairs of Via Vena, characteristic for their typical position leaning against the steep rocky ridge.

After a short while we will find ourselves in a beautiful valley surrounded by terraces and a varied vegetation of Mediterranean scrub, olive trees, vines and carobs.

Before long we find ourselves in the very ancient and picturesque village of Torre.
Among century-old citrus trees, we walk through the whole village until we reach a splendid belvedere overlooking Minori, the belvedere of the "mortella."

After taking some souvenir photos to take home, we descend to Minori in a few minutes where, we will visit the Roman Villa first

The tour ends in Minori where you may decide to return to Salerno by ferry.
