Saint Emilion Wine Tour + blending workshop Bordeaux fullday

Become a wine expert & discover the Saint-Emilion vineyards and chateaux all in just one day. You will participate in a wine tasting class, tour the medieval village of Saint-Emilion and visit one Bordeaux chateau: a Classified Growth estate of Saint Emilion!

10:30 am: Meet at 3 rue d'Enghien, 33000 Bordeaux, at the À la Française apartment.

Start with a welcome glass of white wine and learn the basics of wine tasting, so you'll never feel intimidated in a French restaurant again.

Next, discover the history of Bordeaux wines and their main grape varieties, such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Taste 2 single-varietal wines before joining a blending workshop.

Taste 2 blended wines prepared in front of you to understand their differences.

Then, enjoy a blind tasting of a famous Bordeaux wine and guess where it's from.

All of this with a typical French aperitif (fresh bread, dry sausage, cheese, dark chocolate...) to pair with your wines and discover your tasting profile with the help of your guide.

12:00 pm: End of the tasting class and your guide will recommend you the best place to lunch

At 2:00pm, enjoy a scenic drive to the beautiful Saint Emilion region, kicking off your tour with a visit to a prestigious Great Classified Growth winery along the right bank.             

You will enjoy explanations about the winemaking process, from the vine to the bottle, and then reward yourself with an aperitif accompanied by some French delicacies, such as fresh bread, dry sausage, dark chocolate and cheese.. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy some of their wines     

In the late afternoon, your guide will show all the secrets of the village of Saint Emilion, classified on UNESCO's World Heritage list with a guided visit.
