La Paz: City of contrasts.

Our meeting point will be at the Plaza Sucre, in the San Pedro area, where we will be introduced to the colonial history that still influences the social system of Bolivia.
We will continue to the Valley of the Moon, walking through the unique geological formations that characterize La Paz, appreciating the nature of this area until the expansion of the current urban area.
Using the urban transport ‘Mi Teleférico', we will have views over the neighbourhoods that make up the city, until we reach the historic centre of La Paz, walking through the colonial streets until we reach the Plaza Murillo, the social, political and economic centre of Bolivia.
We finish the tour at the Basilica Menor de San Francisco and the Mercado de las Brujas, where we will understand the syncretism and spiritual complexity that characterizes each of the Bolivians.
