Madeira: Reach the Sun Hike Levada Nova Moinhos Ponta do Sol

Miradouro São Sebastião: breathtaking views
Our first stop is Ribeira Brava, Get your (smartphone) cameras ready, because we stop at the Miradouro São Sebastião, which gives us a great view over the whole of Ribeira Brava.

Ponta do Sol: coffee time!
Afterwards, we will have a short stop for a get together and explain the day's plan. Of course, not without a strong coffee (Bica or Garoto) to fuel up for the day.

Let's hike: Levada Nova and Moinhos 
Lace up your boots, because our Levada Walk is about to start! The hike along the Levada Nova and Moinhos leads us through dense greenery, past small waterfalls and in parts over narrow paths that are high up - that's why we recommend this hike for people who are free from giddiness. But we promise: the fantastic view makes up for everything! And we have also provided for a small picnic with local snacks on the way. 

Waterfall ahead in Ponta do Sol: Cascata dos Anjos (only with good weather)
We made it! We reach Ponta do Sol, a colorful coastal village and the warmest place on the island. The small colorful village has to be explored, of course. Enjoy the summer vibes! Our highlight here: we discover the Insta-Famous waterfall, which falls directly on the street – a very unique Madeira-Experience! Be sure you have your camera ready to capture this beautiful scenery. The waterfall is surrounded by an incredible cliff and the landscape offers a stunning ocean view as well.
