Full Day Trip to Colca Canyon from Arequipa ending in Puno

Pick ups only from the central downtown area otherwise we can meet you at meeting point.

Pick up starts 02:30h until 03:05h wait us ready at 02:30h. After pick ups, we will drive from Arequipa for 3 hours towards Chivay village; the capital of the Colca Canyon on North West direction behind snow-covered Chachani. We are going to arrive to Yanque or Chivay village and stop to have Breakfast.

Then we continue driving for 1 hour and half more towards the most visited point “the Cross” of the Condor here, we are able to see the depth of the canyon and the flight of the Condors. We spend about 1 hour there.

The area presents beautiful typical towns, like Yanque & Maca, colonial churches, gently people with typical needlework dresses, hundreds of pre Inca terraces still in use with Andean growing like corn, quinoa, kiwicha among others.

In addition, we will visit the hot spring pools that the entrance fee is additional for that there we have about 45 minutes free.

At 12:50h Then we will visit Chivay town to have lunch and after our acredited tour guide will change you to the other touristic transport that heads towards Puno's city. So you will continue with your trip with some stops and final destination in Puno city.

On the road on the way, we make stops at the highest pass: the viewpoint of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m. - 15,000 ft.). Later we will see wild vicuñas, alpacas & llamas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve, some birds like flamingoes, ibis, Andean gooze, ducks, Andean eagle "Kara Kara".

Later we stop at Patahuasi then Lagunillas finally we will get in Puno city about 19:00h or before.
