The "Classics in the Museum" concert series combines a concert by the Residence Soloists with museum admission. The Bavarian National Museum—also known as the "Treasure House on the Eisbach Wave"—one of Europe's great art and cultural history museums, presents European cultural history in a unique way. Not only do precious historical musical instruments and the world-famous Nativity scene collection offer spectacular testimony to Bavarian history, but you can also embark on a journey through European art and be transported back in time.
In the one-hour concert on Saturday afternoon, without intermission, the Residence Soloists will take you on a journey through the world of classical music. Piano recitals, an afternoon exploring the world of Baroque music, or familiar and beloved string sounds by Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, and Albéniz will resonate in the superb acoustics of the Mars-Venus Hall. An afternoon that is always worthwhile. Seating is unreserved.
Tickets can be picked up at the box office on-site approximately 30 minutes before the concert begins and will be issued in your name. A visit to the museum is possible before the concert. Please contact the organizer if you want to visit the museum before the concert. They will send you tickets for the concert per Mail, as GetYourGuide codes are not accepted at the museum.
