Oaxaca de Juarez: Art Printing Workshop with a Local Artist

Enjoying Oaxaca begins by observing the public art of its streets, but to understand each of the interventions on the walls, you must know that Oaxaca is a living museum where all its inhabitants and artists express themselves, from social movements to movements for food sovereignty.

Within this experience, I will teach you about Oaxacan print culture and its origins, as well as the five steps to create a print with a social proposal. If you're a beginner, don't worry, we have techniques to get you started, and if you're an experienced person, we have challenges and projects that we want you to be a part of.

Throughout this experience, you'll be in our foodlab gallery, an innovation and training center for young people and those of us seeking to make the world more humane. We'll provide you with all the materials and guide you through techniques and processes, so you can then print your engraving and have a work of art for your home or to gift to your loved ones.

Remember that art in Oaxaca is a part of our life, so each piece you create will be a part of our collection, because now you're an artist with us
