Our experienced guides will provide you with all the necessary equipment, including a tube or gecko, life jacket, and helmet.

The Route: After gearing up, you'll be transported to our designated starting point on the Sabie River, known for its pristine conditions and dynamic flow. The river journey covers several kilometers, featuring a mix of serene stretches perfect for enjoying the lush landscapes, and exciting rapids that provide bursts of adrenaline.

Challenges: As you navigate the river, you will encounter various sections of rapids. Each section requires different levels of paddling and maneuvering skills, guided by our experienced instructors. They will ensure you know exactly how to handle each challenge, making for a safe and enjoyable experience.

What You'll See: Along the way, immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding the Sabie River. The area is rich in biodiversity, and you might spot local wildlife such as birds, monkeys, and occasionally otters. The lush vegetation and the sound of the flowing river add to the tranquility and excitement of the journey.

Ending Point: The tubing/geckoing adventure concludes at a designated pull-out point downstream, where our team will be waiting. From there, you will be transported back to the base camp, where you can change, relax, and reflect on the day's adventure.

Duration: The total duration of the activity, including preparation, travel to the river, and the river run, typically ranges from 3 to 4 hours, depending on the river conditions and the group's pace.

What to Bring: We recommend wearing comfortable swimwear and secure shoes that can get wet. Be sure to bring sun protection, including sunscreen and a hat, as well as a change of clothes for after the activity. Water and snacks are also a good idea, though we provide refreshments at the end of the journey.
