Ferragudo: Self-Guided Kayak & SUP Adventure

The Kayak & Stand Up Paddle Tour in Ferragudo is a delightful way to explore the serene Arade River while enjoying the picturesque views of this charming fishing village. Here's what you can expect from the experience:

1. Drop by our shop and we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment and a detailed river map. Our friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions you might have, and you can securely store your belongings at the shop if needed.

2. Start Paddling!
Just a short 100-meter stroll from the shop, you'll reach the river. From here, your adventure begins! Paddle along the tranquil waters of the Arade River and soak in the beautiful views of Ferragudo's fishing village, the historic Forte de São João do Arade, golden cliffs and secluded beaches.


DISTANCE
Approx. 3 km route from Ferragudo Village view, the castle, small caves, and secret beaches.

DURATION
At low pace, it takes about 1 hour to make this route, but you have 4 hours (or 8) to explore every corner of the river! Stop at the peaceful beaches for a picnic or for some snorkeling.
