Visit a mountain farm with sheep and llamas, owned and operated by the Bonsaksens for more than 400 years. Learn about the trials and tribulations of mountain farming, and the extraordinary people who dared to live here.
The farm is one of the oldest mountain farms along the UNESCO World Heritage fjord, the Geirangerfjord. Nestled on top of a mountain cliff, this farm has one of the best views Norway has to offer.
At the farm there will be a meet and greet with the farm's animals. Although the sheep is most likely grassing up in the steep mountains, there will still be animals to see. The llamas are a curious fan-favorite. Fifteen of them, each with their own personality. If you want a close encounter, grab a handfull of pellets, they might want to eat out of your hand.
Coffe, Tee and waffles will be served.
A bus will take you to and from the farm. The meeting point is really close to the cruise port. Meet up time 30 min before departure.
