The tour departs from Opatija or Lovran and follows the coastline toward the old town of Brseč. The ride itself is part of the experience, with open views of the sea and passing coastal spots such as Medveja, Kraj and Mošćenička Draga, best enjoyed at an easy, unhurried pace.
After about an hour and a half on the water, the boat reaches Cape Šip, where steep cliffs rise dramatically above the sea. Tucked into a small cove below, a hidden blue cave invites guests to jump in and swim inside. The boat stops here for around 30 minutes, giving you time to explore the cave, which is accessible only by swimming. Though small and only about 3 meters deep, it fills with glowing blue light as sunlight passes through the water, creating a truly special atmosphere. The cave's natural acoustics often turn this stop into a fun and memorable moment.
A short five-minute ride then leads to Peć Beach, set beneath the highest cliffs near Brseč. Here, guests enjoy another 30-minute break to swim, float, or simply relax in a quiet, secluded bay. The return journey to Opatija or Lovran is calm and scenic, rounding off the trip with wide Adriatic views and a sense of having discovered something a little off the usual path.
