Kyoto: Beginner Knife Sharpening & Handle Fitting Workshop

In a workshop, you can experience both sharpening and fitting handle including the
explanation of the history about Japanese knives. You can choose one knife for workshop from Santoku, Deba, and Yanagi knives. In addition, engraving service is also availale so please let us know if you want it in advance.
(if you want engraving, please tell us what kind of characters you want (up to 4 letters))
After the workshop, we package your knife and you can take your knife home.

*In the handle fitting section, we use fire so sometimes somke comes out. If you don't want your clothes to smell smoky, please wear clothes you don't mind getting smoky.
*In the handle fitting section, you can choose other types of handles if you pay additional fee.
(The price of addtional fee changes depending on waht kind of handle you choose.)
*Please be at the shop before 5minutes in order to start smoothly.
