What to Expect:
Step it Up Adventure's hikes are all private, you will NOT be paired up with others.

To enjoy a safe and beautiful hike through the Singhampton caves with our passionate guides that are trained in First Aid and have a lifetime of hiking and back country experience behind them.

Hike Description:
Enjoy a guided 7.0km (2.5-3.0hr) hike a top the Niagara Escarpment that will take you through a peaceful mature, mainly deciduous forest on route into and out of the majestic Singhampton Caves.

The caves are open to the sky for those uneasy with tight spaces. Beyond discovering the main caves this trail offers a lookout over the Pretty River Valley and distant Georgian Bay and many smaller crevices to explore.

All guests will experience the same 3.5km trail into the Singhampton Caves and the incredible walk through the caves. However, your guide will work with you to customize your return route based on your interests, some routes offering more beautiful lookouts, others more cave and crevice exploration opportunities.

This private tour ensures a customized experience based on your interests and abilities, providing a unique and memorable hiking experience.

Nottawasaga Bluffs vs. Singhampton Caves:
Singhampton caves are all open, have taller walls making them more grandeur. The Nottawasaga Bluffs main caves are less numerous, but side caves offer more closed/underground discovery options and a larger lookout point.

Water, snacks, appropriate clothing, based on the weather forecast, closed toe shoes are required, hiking boots/shoes or running shoes are preferred.

What we Provide:

Meeting Location:

This is a customized hiking route it will not start at the main trail head; an exact location and detailed instructions will be sent to you upon booking.

Dining Options in the Area:
After working up an appetite on your hike we encourage you to try out one of our local establishments such as the Mylar & Loretta's Restaurant, a historic building in the hamlet of Singhampton. Or, if you prefer a casual drink considering visiting the Duntroon Cyder House and Farm.
