In a city renowned for its parks, ride your bike through its crown jewell! Meet us at our convenient downtown location and pick out bikes for an adventure into the wilderness within the city. Cruise from central Old Town on the Willamette River through Chinatown, the bustling Pearl District, & Nob Hill as your guide highlights historical and cultural hotspots. Crank up the power on an E-Bike, or get your heart and legs pumping on a Carbon Gravel Bike as we climb up to America's largest urban forest - Forest Park.
Boasting nearly 80 miles of multi-use recreational trails, Forest Park spans 5200 acres, connecting the city of Portland to the wilds of the Oregon Coast Range. Carved into the slopes of the West Hills, the stunning Leif Erikson Drive is an 11-mile car-free gravel path which traverses the entire park and offers cyclists a rewarding half-day trip all within city limits.
As you zip along the winding gravel road, you'll be afforded an immersive experience in a native Pacific Northwest ecosystem. This natural playground is brimming with towering Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Big Leaf Maple, Sword Fern, Rhododendron and Oregon's state flower, the Oregon Grape. Catch glimpses of the city skyline and the Willamette River far below you in the valley.
Ride ahead at your own pace or soak in the area knowledge presented by your local guide. Once back at the shop, reminisce about your adventure before refilling your tank at one of Portland's many delicious restaurants and breweries!
