Windmill village and Lego city: Zaanse Schans and Zaandam

Tour in Italian with official guide.

An out-of-town excursion not far from the capital of the Netherlands, about 15 minutes by direct train to the typical village of Zaanse Schans.
The meeting with the Italian guide will be right in Amsterdam central station to head to the Zaanse Schans station, we will reach the windmills village with a walk of about 15 minutes where along the way we will encounter the chocolate factory, the first mills and typical restaurants in the city.
Once you reach the village, the guide will show you the main attractions and will leave you free time to explore and visit a working mill (entrance not included and can be purchased on site)
During the guided walking tour you will visit the wooden clogs factory with a live demonstration and the cheese factory with demonstration and tasting as well, and many other typical and artisanal local places!

On the drop-off, there will be a photo stop in Zaandam, known as the city of Lego houses, because in the station and town hall square, visitors can admire a close-up reproduction of this colourful center full of shops and restaurants.

The return to Amsterdam - central station - is always by train, but participants are left free to choose whether to return with the guide or stay for lunch on site or spend more free time in this beautiful timeless place.
