The mountain bike tour to Coroico starts early in the morning from the city of La Paz. Then go by transport to “La Cumbre” (1hr. from La Paz) which is the starting point at 4,700 masl
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Stage 1: This is a 22 km descent on paved road (asphalt). At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.) all tourists pay Bs. 50 for the entrance to the national park. This first section is for you to build confidence and get used to the bike. Don't worry, the security van always goes behind the group and we have stops for water, photos and bike check.
Stage 2: “Death Road” of about 10 Km. always in a compact group (safety first!!!) and also snack time with chocolate, fruit and more.
Stage 3: About 32 Km. starts with a splash in a waterfall! Finally, the end of the tour is in Yolosa, so the next stop is at a hotel with showers, swimming pool and also a lunch. At approximately 05:00 pm it is time to return to La Paz driving along the new road.
