Itinerary
This tour Rainbow Mountain begins at dawn, therefore, we will take you from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco, towards the South Valley. It takes almost 2 hours to reach Cusipata, from where we will continue with mobility for 1 hour to the town of Phulawasipata.

Once we arrived at the town of Phulawasipata located at an altitude of 4,626 meters above sea level. (15 177.17ft), we will begin our walk of almost 1 hour and a half bordering a beautiful stream. Along the way you can observe the fauna that surrounds it such as Andean camelids (llama, alpaca), you could even see the Andean cat. Have your camera ready and document your journey! Also, you will see the highest snow-capped mountain in the region, the majestic and magical 'Apu Ausangate'. On the other hand, you will have the opportunity to interact with the community members of the area to learn about their ancestral customs, as well as see the enormous fields of cultivation of a wide variety of potatoes and other foods that have been grown since Inca times.

After walking for 1 hour and a half, you will be amazed by Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain or 7 Color Mountain, which is at a height of 5,020 meters above sea level. (16466ft). Remember the experience! You will have time to explore the area, take photos and rest (approximately 30 minutes at the top).

The return will last almost 1 hour along the same arrival route, where transportation will take you back to the community of Cusipata.

Once in Cusipata, we can enjoy lunch. Then, to finish the tour, a vehicle will take you to Cusco on a trip of almost 2 hours.
