Itinerary
When you make your reservation, you will be able to choose the station in Cusco from which you wish to start your train trip to Machu Picchu:

Wanchaq Station: 5:10 am, 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm
San Pedro Station: 6:40 am and 7:30 am
Poroy Station: 6:40 am and 8:25 am


Please note that if you choose to depart from Wanchaq Station, we will take you to Ollantaytambo by bus. From here, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

The train ride takes between 3 hours and 30 minutes and 4 hours.

You can also choose the type of train you wish to travel on to get to Machu Picchu:

Expedition Train.
If you choose the Expedition train option, you will travel to Aguas Calientes on one of the most spectacular rail routes in the world. You will glide through breathtaking scenery and admire the incredible views from the train's large windows.

Vistadome Train
Once aboard the Vistadome train, you will travel in an original and fun way. Its cars have panoramic windows and roofs that will make you feel like you are part of the surrounding nature. While you admire the wonderful views, there will be recorded commentaries that will tell you all about the places you will pass through on your way to Machu Picchu.

Rainy season
