Start at the mountains of Porto da Cruz, where the driver will drop you off. Then, begin your hike to Machico where you will be picked up. Spend 4 hours immersed in a mix of coastal and mountain hiking, and go at your own pace.
The hike is not too crowded and is easy to do, but it is not recommended for children under 12 and people with mobility problems. You will have all the information you need to prepare for the hike and have the driver available to instruct you if you need. Use chat apps like WhatsApp to be in contact with the driver along the hike.
Please wear hiking shoes and comfortable clothing.
