Achadas da Cruz: a piece of paradise

Our adventure takes us to Achadas da Cruz, one of our absolute favourite places on the island. Get ready for some thrills, because here we go 600m downhill - with the steepest cable car in Europe and a gradient of 98%. For those who get a little nervous at the thought of the cable car ride: it only takes a very short 5 minutes. It's worth it, because once we reach the bottom, peace, relaxation and breathtaking scenery await us. Simply a beautiful spot of earth between the wild Atlantic Ocean and high green cliffs. Up again, a nice view and some Portuguese coffee is awaiting us - chose between a Bica or a Garoto.

Seixal: Black sand beach and waterfalls
