Tour Native Communities | Iquitos

ITINERARY
At the indicated time we will meet at the Iquitos pier, where we will board a traditional boat that will take us to visit the indigenous communities of the Amazon. It will be an unforgettable trip!

We will sail along the Itaya River and enjoy the incredible views of the exuberant nature that surrounds us. In addition, we will learn all the particularities of the jungle landscape so characteristic of this area of South America.

After reaching the confluence of the Itaya and Amazon rivers, we will enter the heart of the Amazon jungle. To do this, we will navigate the Nanay River, where we will visit the Bora and Kukama community. We will get off the boat and share the experience with the members of these tribes, discovering everything about their customs and traditions.

We will continue our boat ride through the Amazon traveling along the shore of the Padre Cocha community, where we will have the opportunity to stop again to visit the Pílpintuwasi butterfly garden, a perfect place to observe the great variety of butterflies and exotic animals that live in the jungle. .

Finally, we will begin the journey back to the Iquitos pier, where we will finish the tour five hours later.
