The Qeswachaka Inca Bridge tour begins with a pick-up at your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 in the morning. Continuing almost two hours by car south of Cusco we will visit the four lagoons, after enjoying a moment of tranquility near the lagoons, we will visit the small volcano of Pabellones which is located near the town of Yanaoca. Afterwards we will arrive at the impressive Inca bridge. This Inca suspension bridge is made of vegetal fiber (Ichu) and is located over the Apurímac River, in the Quehue district. The existence of this bridge dates back to the Inca era. Its renovation and maintenance is carried out once a year by the locals of the four surrounding communities. Before starting with the renovation of the bridge, an offering is made as a sign of respect and gratitude to Pachamama. We will have the opportunity to cross the Inca bridge from both sides. But be careful, it seems easy, but it takes courage. On our way back to Cusco we will make a final visit to the colonial Inca bridge of Checacupe, where you will be able to see the differences between the two bridges. This interesting trip ends in the city of Cusco at approximately 5 pm.
