Cuzco: Sacred Valley tour with buffet lunch

Relax after the pick-up on a 1-hour drive to the town of Pisac, in the Sacred Valley, making a few stops along the way at scenic viewpoints. Take a break at a busy local market, where handicrafts and handmade clothing are sold. Enjoy a freshly made lunch and explore nearby archaeological sites.

Stroll through the colonial town of Pisac and shop for unique handmade souvenirs and gifts. After visiting the market, the bus will take you to the hills above the town of Pisac to visit the famous archaeological sites. Travel through the Sacred Valley and stop for lunch in the town of Urubamba.

Continue through the valley to Ollantaytambo, founded by the Inca Ollantay on the banks of the Urubamba River. Visit the Temple of the Sun, built with large blocks that have remained intact for centuries.

Leaving Ollantaytambo, the bus will return through Urubamba and then up and out of the valley to the highlands, where you will make a final stop at the village of Chinchero. See the ancient painted murals and the traditional market, famous for its handcrafted textiles and weavings.
