Tikal Tour: from Mundo Maya Airport in Flores

*We'll meet at our meeting point at 7:50 to embark on our shared tour to Tikal National Park. You'll have the chance to discover the Heart of the Mayan World and explore palaces, temples, and Mayan ball games, the legacy of a great civilization, as well as the abundant flora and fauna, while our local guide shares information about this great civilization.

*After boarding the bus, we'll drive for about 45 minutes to the main entrance of Tikal National Park, where you'll buy your entrance tickets (not included, they cost Q.150.00 per person).

*After buying our tickets, we'll drive for another 20 minutes to the visitor center. There, we'll find a scale map of Tikal (model), a restaurant, shops, and restrooms. Our guide will give us 15 minutes of free time.

*Then we'll head to the entrance control where we'll check our tickets and get a wristband. After that, we'll start the tour in the Tikal National Park. We'll walk and explore the most important points, such as the central plaza where we'll find the icon of Tikal, Temple 1 or the Great Jaguar, Temple 2, the North Acropolis, and the Mayan ball games. We'll also discover Temple 4 or the Bisefila Serpent, as well as the Pyramid of the Lost World, which you can climb and which has an incredible 360-degree view. From this point, you can see a large part of the Mayan biosphere reserve.

*We'll also visit Temple 5, the best-restored temple in Tikal, which has an impressive view.

*We'll finish our tour at the visitor center, where you'll have some free minutes before boarding the bus for our return to Flores or Mundo Maya International Airport.
