Itinerary
15:00 - Pick up
We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Maldonado and start a 30 minute drive to the entrance of the Peruvian jungle.
Hike and River Encounter
We will take a nature walk until we reach the Madre de Dios River, where we will board a canoe.
Piranha Fishing
From the water, you will enjoy panoramic views of lagoons and palm groves. We will stop for an hour to practice piranha fishing, a local tradition - get ready to catch some!
Clay Lick observation
Afterwards, we will approach the emblematic clay lick, where we will spend half an hour observing hundreds of parrots feeding on the salts and minerals in the mud.
Return
Finally, we will return to the canoe and take you back to your lodging, concluding the activity at 18:30.
