Re-life the scenes of Jack Randall at Blackness Castle - until 31 March 2026
Itinerary
Please note from 1 April 2026 this tour will depart at 8:15am (8am check in) and no longer visit Doune Castle, Blackness Castle, Falkland or Culross. You will instead have the option to visit Stirling Castle, Midhope Castle and enjoy an optional Loch Lomond cruise.

Start your tour from Glasgow and head to Doune Castle, known to Outlander fans as Castle Leoch, the home of Clan MacKenzie. Explore this impressive 14th-century fortress and imagine life in the Highlands as shown in the series.

Next, visit the charming village of Culross, which served as the fictional Cranesmuir. Stroll its cobbled streets and discover Claire's herb garden - this picturesque village is a highlight for both history lovers and Outlander fans.

Continue to Falkland, the town that doubles as 1940s Inverness. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and explore landmarks like the Bruce Fountain, where Jamie's ghost first appeared in the show's opening episode.

Next, head to Midhope Castle, known as Lallybroch, Jamie's ancestral home. Take a stroll around the peaceful estate and snap photos of this iconic location. While you can't enter the castle, standing before Lallybroch feels like stepping into the show!

Finally, enjoy the stunning views from Blackness Castle, which portrayed Fort William. Take in the breathtaking scenery over the Firth of Forth before returning to Glasgow, arriving just in time for dinner.
