Arequipa: Excursion to Pillones Waterfalls |Ful Day|

Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. and set off on an excursion to the Pillones waterfalls, located at 4600 meters above sea level. Along the way we will make stops in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi, so you can have breakfast on your own.

At 10:30 a.m. we will arrive at the point from where we will start a downhill hike for about an hour, until we reach the famous waterfalls. Before reaching the Pillones waterfalls, we will find dozens of rocks that have been shaped by water erosion over time. We will cross these curious formations until we reach the waterfall. We will walk this path with special care, as it is a difficult access route. Quite an adventure!

Once in front of the falls, you will be able to take incredible pictures, enjoy the warm weather and contemplate the typical flora and fauna of the region. In addition, you will be able to pose in front of the camera imitating the different shapes of the stones around you. Prehistoric animals, monsters, faces... It will be a lot of fun!

Are you familiar with the Imata stone forest? Don't worry, after the visit to the waterfalls we will go into this peculiar enclave to get to know a very special natural environment.

Then we will make a stop in the village of Imata so that you can have lunch on your own, and then we will start the return trip. We will be at your hotel in Arequipa at approximately 17:00 hours.
