PPC IWAHIG Firefly Watching

Tour Overview:
This shared tour starts in the late afternoon, between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Your assigned driver will meet you at your hotel at the exact time coordinated with you the day before the tour. Free pick-up is included for accommodations within a 15 km range of Puerto Princesa Airport.

Travel and Arrival:
The journey to Iwahig Eco Park takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. As you arrive, you'll be greeted by fresh air, towering trees, and, if you're lucky, curious monkeys showcasing their talents as they swing from tree to tree. Upon arrival, refreshments will be served, and you'll be guided through the registration process.

Tour Experience:
While waiting for your group to be dispatched for the firefly tour, you can explore the park's amenities. An orientation, including safety instructions and the Do's and Don'ts of the boat ride, will be conducted. Life vests will be provided before boarding your assigned boat.
The firefly watching tour lasts approximately 50 minutes, with a maximum of 12 people per batch per boat. Boat rides are scheduled accordingly, and you can enjoy a delicious buffet dinner before or after the ride.

Recommendations:
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing. Mosquito repellent is also advised. Please be advise that this tour is not wheelchair accessible.

End of the Tour:
After your tour, your van will be ready to take you back to your hotel, depending on your boat tour schedule.
