Itinerary
Take a journey of the stunning sights that surround Benidorm and experience the Costa Blanca lifestyle. Our journey will take you around the horseshoe of mountains that give this part of the Costa its microclimate and makes it an all-year-round attraction to visitors from across the globe.

Leaving Benidorm heading to Villajoyosa, the seaside town also known as “chocolate city”, head inland up to the village of Finestrat with its quirky “hanging houses” and dramatic backdrop of the Puig Campana Mountain. Pass around the back of the Sierra Cortina Mountain and join the CV-70 that will lead you up through the town of La Nucia to the beautiful village of Polop, overlooked by the “Lion Mountain”.

Stop and see the home of Spanish writer “Gabriel Miró”, visit the “plaza de los chorros” or “spring square” with its 221 natural springs and then enter “Costa Magica” museum by the late sculptor, Antonio Marco. Be amazed by emblematic buildings of the Costa Blanca such as the Cathedral of Valencia or the blue-domed church of Altea, painstakingly recreated in miniature by hand.

Back on the coach, continue upwards, through Callosa D'en Sarrià, before cusping the feet of the Sierra Bernia Mountain as you sweep through Nispero groves and passing through the small town of Altea La Vella that is nestled between the rugged mountain and glistening Mediterranean Sea.

Once on the national coast road, your destination is the town of Altea with its famous church, Mediterranean style whitewashed houses and hand-laid pebble streets. In Altea, you will have free time, so you can enjoy lunch, the stunning sights from its “mirador” and time to relax in this bohemian seaside town.

What to expect:
This is a bus tour of the area surrounding Benidorm with stops in the village of Polop of 1 hour and 2 hours stop in Altea. Travelling time on the coach between stops is around 40 minutes on each leg and is part of the experience to see the sights. Travel will be on national roads as well as mountain roads, which naturally do have some curves and bends so may not be suitable for those who suffer with motion / travel sickness. Toilet facilities are not available on the coach.
We aim to be back around 17:00.
