Cairns: Cape Tribulation & Daintree Rainforest Premium Tour

This premium full-day tour includes free pick-ups from Cairns, the Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas, making your adventure as convenient as it is unforgettable.

Where your journey begins slightly affects the itinerary. Guests collected from Cairns and the Northern Beaches start with a scenic drive along the Great Barrier Reef Drive, stopping at Rex Lookout to enjoy breathtaking views of the Coral Sea. Continuing to Port Douglas, we pick up additional guests and stop at Flagstaff Hill, overlooking the iconic 4 Mile Beach.

Next, we visit Mossman Gorge, where you'll enjoy a morning tea of freshly baked scones with jam and cream, plus coffee or tea. Afterward, explore this rainforest paradise on a guided walk and cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear Mossman River, flowing over giant granite boulders.

We then enjoy a quality restaurant lunch, with options including Barramundi, Chicken, Steak, Kangaroo, or Vegetarian dishes, before embarking on a 1-hour Daintree River cruise. Keep your eyes open for crocodiles, birds, and other native wildlife.

After crossing the Daintree River via the cable, we enter the ancient Daintree Rainforest. Stop at Alexandra Lookout for panoramic views of the river, delta, and Coral Sea, then join a guided botanical walk beneath the rainforest canopy to discover its remarkable biodiversity.

At Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef, take in the spectacular views from Kulki Lookout—the northernmost point of our tour. On the journey home, pause at a local Daintree Ice-Cream Company to sample tropical ice-cream (at your own expense).

Return to Port Douglas around 5:30 PM, or a little later for Cairns and the Northern Beaches, after an unforgettable day exploring Australia's natural paradise.
