We'll enjoy sitting on the second floor of the mirabus to get a better view of all the tourist attractions of the city of Arequipa. We can get off the bus at the following points: The first point will be the Yanahuara District, where we can take photos at the famous Yanahuara Portals with the Misti volcano in the background. We'll also visit the Church of this traditional district, "Iglesia San Juan Bautista". Here, they sell the traditional queso helado, a typical Arequipa dessert with a unique flavor that you absolutely must try.
Then we'll head to the second point, which will be the Mirador de Carmen Alto. There, you'll be able to see the terraces of the district and also the three volcanoes we have in Arequipa: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu. Next, we'll head to the third point, the Incalpaca Mini Zoo. Admission is free, and you'll be able to see the four South American camelids (llama, alpaca, vicuña, and guanaco).
Our next stop is the Founder's Mansion; it's a colonial mansion, now a museum, which houses important relics from the history of the city of Arequipa. Entry is optional but recommended given the historical richness it houses. Finally, we'll visit the fifth point, which will be the Sabandia Mill, inside which the water mill is operating. Admission is optional. If you want to stay outside, you can find optional activities such as horseback riding or a quad bike ride. Then we'll head back to downtown Arequipa, arriving in about 45 minutes
