Tasting – "Dortmund Export Beers" tour and tasting

We'll be tasting a wide variety of export beers on the site of the disused Phoenix-West blast furnace plant. Right where the "shift worker" could only dream of his after-work beer. Why export beers? Because we're enthusiastic about the incredible variety of flavors of these bottom-fermented beers, for which each brewery has its own recipe.

During the tour, you'll make four stops at selected exciting locations on the grounds of this important industrial cultural monument to taste the export beers.

During the entire tour, our two tour guides will entertain you with a mix of anecdotes, (historical) facts, and curious stories about the history and work in the former steelworks with its blast furnace plants, about export beer, and about the structural change in Dortmund and the Ruhr area...
