From Puno || Excursion to Copacabana and Sun Island ||

Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel in Puno at 6:50 a.m., we will go by bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana.

We will cross the border and reach our destination around 11:00 am. Once there, we will take a walking tour contemplating the façade of the 17th century basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria and discovering why this city is an important pilgrimage site in the country.

Afterwards, we will stop to recharge our batteries with a meal including a chicken or trout dish and a drink. Afterwards, we will go to the port where a boat will be waiting to take us to the nearby Isla del Sol. Enjoy the views of Lake Titicaca!

When we disembark, we will start a guided tour of approximately two hours. Is it true that this area is home to the fountain of eternal youth? We will reveal it to you and delve into the origins of the Inca culture admiring millenary sanctuaries.

After the visit to the Sun Island we will take the boat again to return to Copacabana. Here we will change transport to return to Puno by bus, where we will arrive at 8:30 pm.
