Itinerary
Enjoy a full day trip from Paris to the D Day Beaches in Normandy in the company of an expert guide who brings these historic sites to life.

Board an air conditioned coach in central Paris and travel through the peaceful landscapes of the French countryside on your way to Normandy.

Your visit begins at Pointe du Hoc, a dramatic cliff top site where American Rangers carried out one of the most daring assaults of D Day. Continue to the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville sur Mer. Walk through this vast 170 acre site featuring 9,387 white marble headstones, a memorial, a chapel, and the Garden of the Missing, overlooking Omaha Beach. Follow a path down to Omaha Beach itself, where American forces landed under heavy fire.

Continue to Longues sur Mer to see the remarkably well preserved German coastal battery, offering a powerful insight into the Atlantic Wall defenses.

The tour then continues to Arromanches sur Mer, a historic seaside town famous for the remains of the Mulberry artificial harbor built to support the Normandy landings. Parts of the reinforced concrete Phoenix caissons can still be seen floating in the water. Depending on the option selected, you may enjoy a lunch featuring local Normandy specialties such as crêpes and cider, or have free time to explore and dine independently.

Before returning to Paris, depending on the day's schedule, you may make a short stop near Juno Beach and its cemetery, one of the key landing sites for Canadian troops on June 6, 1944.

You may also have the opportunity to visit a museum, where everyday objects from life under occupation, military maps and vehicle models, as well as film screenings, help recreate the emotions of D Day and the Battle of Normandy.
