I was picked up punctually at the agreed meeting point and driven safely up the mountain. The bus driver told many interesting stories. The sunrise on Haleakala was beautiful. As the sun came out, the locals sang a welcoming chant, "e ala e," a traditional sunrise song, which deeply touched me. We had breakfast at the Tropical Plantation restaurant, a very nice place, and the breakfast was delicious. All in all, a fantastic trip and I would 100% recommend it. Mahalo 🌺

Scott and Dakota gave the perfect balance of safety, humor, fun and love of the island and places they took us. The snorkeling was great and the sea caves were even more amazing!
