Itinerary
Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels – Full Day

Begin your day with a morning city tour exploring Ho Chi Minh City's most iconic historical and cultural landmarks. Your first stop is the Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace. Built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, this well-known symbol of the city was designed by renowned Vietnamese architect Ngo Viet Thu and played a significant role in Vietnam's modern history.
Continue to admire impressive French colonial architecture, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office, both outstanding examples of colonial-era design and important city landmarks. You will then visit the War Remnants Museum, which features extensive exhibitions documenting the Indochina Wars and the Vietnam War, offering powerful insights into the country's past.

Lunch : Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Afternoon – Cu Chi Tunnels
After lunch, depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels, located about 70 km from the city center. The journey takes approximately one and a half hours by air-conditioned bus. Upon arrival, receive a brief introduction followed by an informative documentary video explaining how the tunnel system was constructed and how local people survived under extremely harsh wartime conditions.

Explore the remaining sections of the tunnel network, including cleverly designed underground living areas such as kitchens, bedrooms, storage facilities, weapon workshops, field hospitals, and command centers. Learn how this complex system allowed residents to meet their daily needs while remaining hidden underground. You will also see concealed trapdoors and defensive traps that were used for protection during the war.

After the exploration, enjoy special tea and boiled cassava, once a staple food of the guerrilla fighters. There is free time to relax or, for those interested, an optional opportunity to experience live shooting at the nearby shooting range (at own expense).
Later in the afternoon, return to Ho Chi Minh City, marking the end of a meaningful and educational full-day experience.
Please note:
• The Notre Dame Cathedral is currently under restoration, so visits are limited to the exterior only.
• Drop-off time may vary depending on traffic and weather conditions, and the tour may finish later than expected.
