As we leave Christchurch, we traverse the expansive Canterbury Plains, known for their fertile farmland and sweeping vistas. Enjoy the views of lush pastures and distant mountains as we make our way towards our first major stop.

Our first highlight is the breathtaking Lake Tekapo. Marvel at the vibrant turquoise waters, a result of fine glacial sediment, and visit the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd.

Next, we'll pass by the equally stunning Lake Pukaki. Take in the lake's striking blue waters and panoramic views of Mt Cook.. Learn about the glacial origins of the lake and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

A major highlight of the tour is Mt Cook National Park, home to New Zealand's highest peak, Aoraki/Mt Cook. You'll have 2 hours (approximately) to explore the park and take in the awe-inspiring views. As we approach Queenstown, we'll pass by the historic Kawarau Gorge. Here, you can marvel at the iconic Kawarau Bridge, the birthplace of bungee jumping.
