Itinerary
This tour is one of the most popular in San Pedro de Atacama and offers a comprehensive experience that we highly recommend. We begin our journey at the stunning Salar de Atacama, where we will visit the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Here, at Laguna Chaxa, you'll have the opportunity to observe the iconic flamingos up close, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the landscape.

After admiring these elegant birds, we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Tropic of Capricorn, a location marked by the history of the legendary Inca Trail. Next, we head up to the Altiplano to visit the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons, located 4,200 meters above sea level at the base of the majestic Andes volcanoes. The vibrant colors of these lagoons offer a visual spectacle that will remain etched in your memory.

As we hike along their trails, you'll be immersed in nature at its finest, surrounded by mountains and volcanoes steeped in ancient myths and stories. This landscape invites a moment of introspection, allowing you to listen to the timeless voices of the earth. We then continue our adventure to the Salar Sur de Aguas Calientes, also known as Piedras Rojas. Here, we'll walk for about an hour to reach the famous "Beach," where the contrast between the clear waters and the volcanic rock formations creates a breathtaking view.

On our way back to San Pedro, we'll stop in Toconao, a charming village known for its bell tower and the Church of San Lucas, both designated national monuments. We'll conclude this incredible experience by sharing a delicious lunch together in San Pedro de Atacama, reflecting on the unforgettable moments of the day and saying goodbye to this fascinating part of the world.
