5:00 - 5:30 AM: We will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and start our bus trip to Huascaran National Park, just an hour and a half away. Get ready for the adventure!
Upon arrival at the park: We will get off the bus and start our hike. During the ascent, you will be able to observe the endemic flora and fauna of this beautiful region. Keep your eyes open, as you might spot the puna partridge and the majestic Andean condor - did you know that the Incas believed the latter to be immortal!
After three hours of hiking: We will finally reach the impressive Laguna 69. Its vibrant turquoise blue waters will take your breath away. You will have an hour of free time to explore the surroundings and enjoy lunch on your own.
Will you dare to dive? Many do, but keep in mind that the temperature ranges from 12 to 16 degrees Celsius.
At the end of the day: We will return to the park entrance, where the bus will be waiting to take us back to Huaraz.
Estimated time of arrival in Huaraz: 8:00 PM.
