Hiking in Parón: The Unmissable Routes from Huaraz

Itinerary
8:00 AM: We will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and start our trip north, heading to Parón Lake, one of the largest and most attractive of the Cordillera Blanca.
On the way, you will enjoy the impressive landscapes of the snow-capped mountains of Caraz and Piramide. We will continue to the northeast of the Callejón de Huaylas until we reach the town of Caraz, where we will take a minibus to ascend to the lagoon.
Upon arrival, we will begin a hike of about an hour and a half on the left side of the lagoon. This hiking route offers spectacular views of the Cordillera Blanca, culminating in the majestic Parón Lagoon, the largest natural freshwater reservoir in the region.
Free time: You will enjoy half an hour to rest and admire the scenery. With renewed energy, we start the walk back to Caraz, where you can taste a traditional sweet: the famous manjar blanco.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Huaraz, with the excursion concluding around 5:30 PM.
