Private excursion to the Uros islands by traditional boat

Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel in Puno at 8:30 a.m., we will go to the dock where the boat will be waiting for us. Are you ready to explore the famous Uros Islands?

We will board a very curious traditional boat, made of reeds! This type of raft, designed by the indigenous communities, has become a symbol of the region. We will show you how these boats are built while we take a fantastic ride on Lake Titicaca.

During our one-hour crossing we will contemplate the native birds of the area and the beautiful views offered by the impressive spring until we reach the artificial islands of the Uros. Did you know that these extensions of land are made of the same material as the boats?

When we arrive at our destination, we will take a walking tour of these islands discovering the lifestyle of its inhabitants. We will get to know their traditions, see different pieces of handicrafts, learn their most peculiar customs and much more. You will remember it forever!

An hour and a half later, we will return to the boat and start the return trip.
We will finish the excursion at 12:30 p.m., leaving you at your hotel
