From Huaraz: Llanganuco Lagoon + Callejon de Huaylas

Itinerary
At 9:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and set out on a route to the Lagunas de Llanganuco, a paradise in the Huascaran National Park that will completely captivate us.

First we will make a stop to enjoy the views of the Huanday, Hualcan and Huascaran peaks. Did you know that the latter rises 6757 meters above sea level? Its colossal height will impress you!

When we arrive at Huascaran National Park, we will go directly to the famous Llanganuco lakes: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. There we will leave you with an hour of free time to explore on your own these glacial lakes in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru. You will have the option to take a horseback ride or navigate the waters by boat.

Then we will take you to Caraz, where you will have free time for lunch on your own. Enjoy! After lunch, we will visit for half an hour different local pastry shops to learn about the curiosities of local sweets.

On our way back to Huaraz, we will stop in the district of Tarica to learn about its traditional handicrafts. Finally, we will conclude the excursion arriving at the hotels at 8:00 pm.
