From San Pedro de Atacama: Lagoons and Red Stones

Discover the beauty of the Salar de Atacama on a full-day tour from San Pedro de Atacama. Visit the town of Toconao, Laguna Chaxa, the town of Socaire, and the Miscanti and Meñiques lagoons.

Start your tour with a visit to the town of Toconao, known for its simplicity, calm people, special climate, beautiful architecture, and craftsmanship. Continue to Laguna Chaxa, located in the Soncor sector of the Los Flamencos National Reserve.

Head southeast to the Andes mountain range and stop in the town of Socaire. Visit the church and learn about local agriculture. Continue to the Miscanti and Meñiques lagoons, located at an altitude of 4,200 meters above sea level in the Los Flamencos National Reserve.
