Reviews: From la Costa del Sol: One Day in Córdoba + Mezquita
Guest User2025-09-17
The Mezquita is truly beautiful. You can easily spend an hour wandering around here and it's still impressive. Codoba itself is nice, but not particularly special. We had the guided tour. We walked maybe 500 meters in an hour, and she kept talking. We'd long since given up listening. I personally wouldn't book this tour with a guide again next time. At the entrance to the Mezquita, you also get a brochure with all the information. If you wander around freely in Corona, you'll see much more than with a guide. I didn't think the tour was worth €105 per person, considering that the entrance fee to the Mezquita is less than €25 per person.

Very fun experience, Dennis in Gibraltar was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Spanish driver was not very talkative but in Gibraltar we had a great time.

We had an amazing tour of Gibraltar with Dylan as our guide! As a third-generation local, Dylan brought a unique and personal perspective to the rich history of the city. His knowledge and passion made every stop along the way even more fascinating. He took us all the way to the top of the Rock for stunning views, guided us through the incredible St. Michael’s Cave, and led us through the historic tunnels. One of the highlights was getting to feed the famous monkeys—such a fun and memorable experience! The WWII tunnels were particularly captivating, and Dylan’s storytelling really brought the history to life. If you’re looking for a tour that’s both informative and unforgettable, Dylan is the perfect guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience Gibraltar!

Reviews: Full-Day Private Guided Historic Tour of Gibraltar from Cadiz

We had a lovely time seeing Gibraltar with Mustafa who was knowledgeable, friendly, a safe driver, and fun! He gave great tips on what to do and see while on the rock, and was helpful at how to get pics with the monkeys. He had treats for them so they’d come up and interact but not too much! You need a couple of hours to explore the rock and get a good feel for it. The town is cute and has shopping and cafes. It’s not high end shopping but a mix of touristy and some British items. Walking across the runway is a cool experience so don’t take the taxi back. We had a very kind and good driver, Pedro. We were not happy that the Mercedes van was in the shop, so if you don’t like smaller cars, make sure you confirm the type of transportation. Otherwise, our driver was very nice, safe and accommodating. We also went from Cadiz to Gibraltar. We left at 8:30 and were back around 4. If you have a ship to return to that’s leaving, you could see the rock and such, but you would need to return and not eat lunch or shop much. We ate and shopped for about an hour. We didn’t have to worry about getting back w our shop staying the night though.
