From Tromsø: Dog Sledding Experience with Transfer

Begin your experience with a scenic 1-hour bus ride from Tromsø to the outdoor camp. Upon arrival, be welcomed by friendly staff and receive warm outdoor gear and boots to keep you comfortable during the activity.

Before heading out, get an introduction to the world of dog sledding. Meet the huskies up close, learn how they are cared for, and discover the basics of mushing from experienced guides.

After a safety briefing and instructions from professional mushers, set off on an easy-going 3-4 km sled ride through stunning Arctic nature. Paired up in twos, take turns driving the sled and sitting as a passenger, switching roles halfway through the ride.

After the sledding, warm up inside with hot drinks and a slice of traditional Norwegian snack. Relax, share stories, and ask more questions to your guide about the dogs and life in the Arctic.

Once the visit comes to an end, the bus will take you comfortably back to Tromsø and you'll be dropped off at the same location where you were picked up.
