From Tromsø: Snowmobiling Tour at Camp Tamok

The tour starts with a 90-minute scenic bus ride from Tromsø city centre to Camp Tamok in the beautiful Tamok Valley.
Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and provide the necessary warm winter gear: thermal suit, boots, gloves, and helmet. After a safety briefing, you'll learn how to drive a snowmobile before heading out on the snowy trails.
Follow your tour guide and navigate along snowy trails, passing snow-covered mountains, valleys, frozen rivers, and lakes. You will share a snowmobile with another person, taking turns as the driver and passenger. Halfway through the tour, we'll have a short break where you'll swap places, ensuring both of you have the chance to drive the snowmobile. Back at the camp, warm up inside a traditional Sámi tent (lávvu) with a hot meal and drink by the fire.
In peak season, some guests start with the meal while others begin the tour to keep group sizes small. Finally with everyone returned to the camp, board the bus and return to Tromsø with unforgettable memories of your Arctic adventure.
