Reviews: Rio de Janeiro: Hang Gliding Tandem Flight
Guest User2025-11-21
This is a must-do when visiting Rio. The experience is quite short, but it's worth it! We were very well looked after by the instructors. In short: expect an average flight time of 8 minutes with an incredible view. At the end of your flight, a panoramic GoPro video is included, and you can also get an Insta360 version (a more Instagrammable format) for 300 Brazilian pesos (approximately €49).

The activity was very good and the guide Rosana gave us details about each place where we went by boat, I consider it a great extra that we appreciated a lot.

Extremely easy to use, good connections – even at sea due to oil rigs! Switching networks when crossing borders is straightforward. Overall, perfect for a cruise (my intended use)!
Reviews: Discover Rio Little Africa: A Cultural and Historical Journey
Guest User2025-10-18
If I could give guide Ana Julia six stars, I would: a young, enthusiastic, passionate black woman, totally engrossed in the topic she was explaining to us. Her English was absolutely impeccable: fluent and very varied. I thought she'd spent time abroad, but instead she started out self-taught. She gave us a thousand examples, including current ones, of what it means to be an African in Brazil, both in the past and today. She also gave us how Brazilian politics, past and present, has interacted with the African population. It struck us, truly conveyed something to us, and we were interested. Three and a half hours flew by! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! She was also courageous in personally exposing certain statements: we absolutely agree with them, even if we're white and European... but you never know who you're dealing with. Truly commendable! In general, Little Africa and especially the history are worth listening to, and you learn so much about today's Brazil, the favelas, and more. We started Rio with this tour and did absolutely well.
