We had a 7 hour layover in Doha so we decided to take a tour. Balil, our guide, picked us up right outside the airport on schedule and promised to have us back in time for our departing flight to New York. He took us on a 4 hour tour. It was great. He showed us all the important landmarks and neighborhoods in old Doha and in the new part of the city. The heat and humidity were oppressive even at night so his comfortable air conditioned vehicle was most appreciated. We did walk a bit in the sook, the open air market, for a real taste of Doha.
Overall the experience was terrific. Balil is most pleasant, speaks perfect English and knows Doha. Highly recommend the tour and Balil!★

Sajid was an amazing guide. He's so knowledgeable, calm, funny and very very accommodating. We had such an adventure at the sand dunes, he's a fantastic and safe driver and I will recommend anyone traveling to Doha to sign up for this, especially if you can request for Sajid.★
